Among all the species of mint, we have selected Mentha aquatica L. for its richness in antioxidants. We concentrate it in an extract that has been scientifically proven to have anti-pollution properties on the scalp and skin.

The monolaurin used in the Purity Cream is 100% naturally derived from coconut. This active ingredient has a sebum-reducing action and helps to mattify the skin. The skin is less shiny and less prone to sebum build-up on the surface.
We are committed to helping preserve biodiversity by growing the mint in our own organic fields. All stages from design to manufacture are carried out within a radius of just 48 km to ensure seamless 'From farm to face' traceability and to minimise our impact on the ecosystem. After harvesting, the mint leaves travel a mere 200 metres to the Gaillac site to extract the active ingredient needed for Klorane's Mint products. The formulas are manufactured in our eco-conscious and High Environmental Quality-certified factory in Castres, France. The clinical tests are carried out under dermatological and ophthalmological control at the Toulouse site.
We have chosen to produce aquatic mint on our land in the South West of France, according to the principles of organic farming.
