THE PROPERTIES OF NASTURTIUM
Already used for thousands of years in Mexico and Peru for disinfecting, healing and expectorating, nasturtium is now used in dermocosmetics to treat skin, nail and scalp disorders. We recommend it to tackle a common problem: dandruff!
We have selected the Tropaeolum majus l. species for its purifying active ingredient content. Our farmers harvest the nasturtiums by hand, carefully removing the earth residue, then drying them at a temperature always below 60°C so as not to alter their effectiveness. The flowering plants are used in their entirety to take advantage of their richness in glucotropaeolin, whose purifying and cleansing properties restore the balance of the scalp.
A few words from our expert
Nasturtium combined with salicylic acid, which is a derivative of willow bark, exfoliates the scalp and helps eliminate excess sebum, with guaranteed effectiveness on all hair types: a winning combo to fight dandruff!
In the language of flowers, the nasturtium symbolises the stages of love according to its colour. White represents purity; yellow helps to declare one's love; orange shows the desire to seduce and red confirms a passionate love..
